Wii's 'Virtual Console' pricing structure determined
It is ironic that one of
Nintendo Wii's weapons against high-definition games offered on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is actually its vast 2D retro library that dates back all the way to the original NES era. This built-in virtual console (why can't they just call a spade a spade - its an emulator) is able to play classic Nintendo games as well as offerings from other publishers via a special controller. Each game will cost between $5 to $10, and it is most likely some of the titles played at E3 (Super Mario Bros, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, and Sonic the Hedgehog) will be available on the Wii.
