Sony goes after Kindle with new, touchscreen eBook reader

Sony gears up to take on the Kindle with a new Reader model that's got a touch-sensitive screen, a gesture-driven interface, and a UI that's somewhere between a Reader and an iPhone. We played with the new device at Sony's event and think it has some real potential—with a couple of caveats.
