It is even smart enough to tell the payback period, so you'll have all those facts in hand before approaching the missus about blowing a huge chunk of cash for the betterment of the environment. All you need to do is enter your ZIP code or address, mark the size of the solar array on your home's roof and let the program get to work by calculating the final fugure. I don't forsee electricity tariffs decreasing over time, so it is safe to assume that getting a solar roof now is more prudent than later.
